Been slacking some....

Hello Everyone,
I am so sorry I have been slacking off in posting here. Life has just been so very busy with working, keeping busy at home and being pregnant. James and I found out we are expecting a little girl. We are so very excited. Everything si going well so far and we can't wait to meet our little girl. We have also been keeping busy with our sweet pups Hailey and Cindal. They are now almost 8 months old and are growing bigger everyday. They are so much fun but also full of mischief and noise. But we just love them! They bring so much joy and amusement to our lives!

I am still working in a school district in Phoenix as an OT. I love my job working with kids. I couldn't have picked a better profession. Work is fun- but I am finding that I get pretty tired lately. I will be picking up more time starting next week in the schools. My hours in the schools will go from 20 hours to 32 hours until the end of the school year, unless I can't make it til then due to being pregnant and so tired. But that is the goal.

Anyway I better go but just wanted to do a quick check in. I promise to try to be better about posting again. But I can make no guarantees- but I will TRY.

OK- so apprently sometimes the tags for photos are in the correct spots and sometimes they aren't. The tags seem to move. So weird!!

hello again!

OH I am so mad! I started typing an entry and then the computer totally closed the internet down for no apparent reason. I swear I HATE technology! Anyway back to what I WAS posting. My last post had Christmas photos and the tags to them got put with the wrong photos. So if looking at the photos- please know that the tags are not necessarily next to the correct photos. I have been having a hard time with this website- so have not been back to it for awhile because I got fed up with it.

I will be posting some photos of Christmas at Missy's soon too.

Things here have been going well. I am now 16 weeks and 2 days pregnant. My baby belly is growing fast and I can't believe how far along I am. It is going by fast- I can't wait to meet our baby in summer! I have not yet felt the baby kick. There were a few times I wonbdered if I did- but after talking to other people we don't think it was the baby. Generally first time Moms feel the baby kick sometime between 16-22 weeks. SO it could be any day. I can't wait to feel it because I think it will make it feel so much more real. I can't wait for James to feel it too!

Work is going well. I started a new job in December and had two weeks before the school district went on break for Christmas. I have been back one week. The people there are great and the other OT who is there with me is very helpful. The kids are lots of fun. I only workl a total of 24 hours a week (20 in the schools and four hours of home therapy sessions) and still earn more than I did working 40 hours at my last job! Also I found out my old boss got fired! I couldn't believe it when I found out- he really did not know how to do his job.

I am getting a cold- which is bad news. I get respiratory infections really easily and I am worried I might be on the way to one this time too. I had pneumonia twice, once in August and once in 2001 and bronchitis a bunch of times since 2001 as well- and I a worried because of being pregnant and thinking I am getting an ionfection again. Oh well, we'll see what happens I guess.

Christmas at Mum's

Puppies first Christmas. The puppies got new toys from James and I- which they loved

Christmas morning at Mum's house. Photos of Mum,. Heather, James and Marion opening Christmas presents.

Jennifer, Scoot, Bryce and Sage (Jennifer and Scott's kids and our godkids), along with Rita and Rex (Jennifer's parents) and Mum's boyfriend Marshall and his son Terry joined us for Christmas dinner.
Here is Bryce trying out the sunglasses Mum gave him and Mum and Bryce opening and looking at some presents.

Zephyr relaxing and enjoying the company. He just loves people!

Jennifer and Scott opening the presents from the kids- we helped the kids make special tiles for thier parents this year for Christmas! Jen and Scott loved them!

Sage was looking pretty sleepy for awhile- she woke up with allergies and they gave her benadryl which made her very sleepy, quiet and very unlike the Sage we know- but after a bit she perked up a bit.

Marion and Jen by the tree

Marshall carving the turkey.

Marion and James about to begin Christmas dinner.

Rita and Rex ready for Christmas dinner.

Doing the Christmas crackers. Cristmas crackers are an Australian tradition- originating from England. Your pull these little crackers with someone sitting near you, that make a popping noise, youm open them up and inside there is a paper hat (pretty funny looking- but judge for yourself!), a plastic toy and then a joke (most of which are usually pretty dumb ones).

The kids and James and Scott playing Bryce's Cootie game he got from James and Marion.

The Camping family playing games on Christmas Eve afternoon at Mom and Dad Camping's house.
Opening presents at Mom and Dad Campings. This is James, his rother Jon and Oma (James grandmother).

Tracey fooling around with her new scarf that Mom made- she made one for everyone there so we took a photo with all of us in it later.

James putting the garland up and putting the angel on the tree. The puppies seemed to enjoy being with us as we decorated. It was their first Christmas! They were very curious as to what we were doing and what was going on.

Decorating our tree at our house. It was fun decorating and really got us into the Christmas spirit!

One is of Mum, Heather and Reid decorating the tree at Mum's house. The next photo is Zephyr who lives at Mum's house still. When Marion moved out he stayed to keep Mum company.

Here are some more Christmas pictures as promised.
